Minimum Advertised Pricing & Related Policies
At Left Justified Studio & Prolific Games, we sell games in a variety of channels.
We have relationships with a variety of distributors who service retail stores. We require our distributors to decline sales to businesses that have failed to abide by certain terms and conditions that help us maintain the image and value of our products. This page describes those terms and conditions.
We will make every effort to inform business who are not following these terms and conditions, and allow them the opportunity to make changes. If you have questions about these terms and conditions, or your business’s status with regard to them, please email jeff@left-justified.com.
- Brick-and-Mortar Businesses: Retailers purchasing from our distributors should maintain a clean, safe, family-friendly brick-and-mortar location as their primary venue for sales.
- Appropriate Stock Levels: Retailers purchasing from our distributors should order inventory appropriate to their sales needs. They should not overstock with an eye toward discounting or liquidation.
- Online Sales: Retailers purchasing from our distributors should not generate a major portion of their revenue from online sales. We will decide what constitutes a “major portion” at our discretion, and on a case-by-case basis.
- Minimum Advertised Prices: We have established a Minimum Advertised Price (“MAP”) for many of our products in order to protect the integrity and value of our brands. For these products, the MAP is the lowest amount a retailer may display to customers in advertisements, online storefronts, or marketing communications. To be clear, retailers can offer any price they wish at the point of sale. Our most current list of MAP prices is available at left-justified.com/wholesale-catalog.
